Gifted Abilitees

Who Are We?

Gifted Abilitees is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Los Angeles that provides vocational training to special needs adults in the areas of promotion and marketing. This includes creating promotional and marketing items such t-shirts, audio and visual content, and ecommerce website design.

We also provide workshops and additional resources catered to empowering individuals, supporting families, and creating safe social opportunities.

What We Do

In our program, members will learn/ have access to:

• Graphic Design on the latest Software, i.e. Word, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.

• Audio/Visual Content Creation, i.e. Filming, editing, and publishing

• Graphic Placement/Distribution i.e. T-shirt placement/creation, websites, vector art, etc.

• E-commerce Training, i.e building and promoting ecommerce stores for themselves and others

• Business Management Skills and Mentorship i.e. Resume Building, Business Planning & Advising

• Resource Workshops in development of independent skills i.e. cooking, self-care, housing

• Vocational Network of companies looking to hire from the disABLED community

Mission & Vision

Many people affected by Mental and Developmental obstacles find it difficult to find available jobs and resources. Our mission is to provide special needs adults with employment training, opportunities, and resources.

Our vision is to build a resource center that provides
training, workshops, and resource connections that help our members become ACTIVE contributors to the world around them.

We are proud to introduce writer, resource researcher, and content creator Gilbert J. In 2019, Gilbert J. became Gifted Abilitees 1st member! Through our teamwork we were able to assist him in designing a monthly e-newsletter/blog, launching a website, and creating promotional items.
